Drinking water is more than just for drinking |
| Hose lines that are used to transport drinking water have to meet strict requirements, even for non-permanent transport of drinking water. These regulations apply not only to all industrial applications, but also to hose lines used solely to fill drinking water containers on trains, ships, and planes, or for emergency supplies or at festivals.
Angst+Pfister presents AQUAPAL®, a high-quality, robust drinking water hose that meets all statutory requirements: compliance with KTW A and DVGW work sheet W270. In addition, the AQUAPAL® drinking water hose is also certified in accordance with DVGW VP 549. |
The term "drinking water" goes far beyond what is usually perceived upon hearing the expression. Who, for example, immediately associates the term "drinking water" with the cleaning of fryer oil storage containers? Drinking water, however, is not used just for drinking. Drinking-water and food regulations stipulate that all water used for drinking, cooking, food-and-beverage preparation and personal hygiene must qualify as drinking water. The same applies for water that is used to clean objects and equipment that come in contact with food.
