Plastics used in the foodstuffs sector have to satisfy a range of requirements and directives. Plastics occupy a position of undisputed importance in today's technology. They are replacing conventional metallic or non-metallic materials in many applications. Angst+Pfister continuously observes trends in polymer materials and, over the past few years, has continuously expanded its range of semi-finished plastic parts. Currently, more than 100 different types of plastic are stocked in our European logistics centre in the form of semi-finished parts.Modern, computer-controlled panel cutting saws guarantee panel sections with accurate dimensions and angles. Small and large series can be produced within the shortest possible time with high levels of flexibility. All technical and high-performance plastics in the form of foils, panels, round rods and pipes are available with a high level of delivery capability and in closely spaced dimension steps. Further we offer a comprehensive assortment of PTFE-coated glass fabrics as welder terminal covers, slideway linings and anti-adhesive separation layers. High-quality one and two-pack adhesives are available for technical bonding. Angst+Pfister is capable of manufacturing finished parts to customer drawings based on all semi-finished parts in stock.
