Angst+Pfister Newsletter no. 3 / 2007
|
|
Dear reader, |
| |
|
This edition of our newsletter is dedicated entirely to the subject of gas springs. Angst+Pfister has further expanded its service and delivery capability for gas springs by setting up its own gas filling station. With this system, standard gas springs available from stock can be topped up with gas. Angst+Pfister is thus now able to supply gas springs with almost any customer-specified spring force at very short notice.
We now also provide users of gas springs with computer-aided engineering. This guarantees a very accurate calculation of the entire movement sequence. It also enables a quick and easy calculation of different variants and makes it possible to factor in the elastic characteristic curve of a gas spring as well as the operating ambient temperature. We can also configure gas springs for you onsite.
Numerous practical applications for gas springs are presented in the interesting articles in our newsletter. |
We hope you enjoy reading them. Your Angst+Pfister team |

| "You Bet!" APSOvib® gas springs meet exacting requirements |
|
The mobile all-purpose diggers from Menzi Muck are bywords for reliability, cutting-edge techno-logy, safety, high performance, durability and comfort for the operator. One such digger provided impressive proof of this when it climbed over a container on the German TV show "Wanna Bet?". Particularly high demands are placed on the operator's seat of this machine. The operator's seat offers maximum comfort and flexibility thanks to the adjustable armrests, joystick and foot pedals. |
 | |
|
As a safety measure, the digger's parking brake is automatically activated when the armrest is folded up. It goes without saying that this function has to work reliably. Gas springs from Angst+Pfister make it easier to fold up the armrest and they hold it firmly in the raised position.

The Stöcklin company offers a wide assortment of hand pallet trucks and lift trucks for extremely diverse handling tasks. Their tiller-operated lift trucks can be operated conveniently using a panel on the tiller. The tiller also has an important safety function. Gas springs from Angst+Pfister automatically return it to the upright position when it is released. This triggers rapid braking and brings the lift truck to a halt.
